Timm Klonn photography.
A link to Timm Kolln's website was passed along to me and I feel obligated to share. Being a photographer, in a former life, I appreciate this guy's approach to imaging cycling. It can be a difficult sport see because of all the subtle emotion and invisible "guts" that go into it.
Shots of Mark Cavendish in a victory salute and the signature TDF shot or poster of Lance are great but only capture one part of (or none of ) the hours that preceded or followed that moment. Albeit that particular moment is one we race for, it is still just one angle. Many of these images are not intended to be sport-news magazine worthy, they are instead a view of racing that makes me appreciate the sport even more.
Here are a few samples I stole from Timm Kolln's website. I'm planning on purchasing one or a few--they are not cheap, but not as expensive as you may fear.
Enjoy.
